　　W: I’m Josie Davis, a mountaineer. I’m here to tell you something about climbing Mount Everest. I was first attracted by climbing in 2016 when, as a reporter, I was arranged to interview some professional mountaineers. Over the several days I spent with them, I began to understand the sense of freedom that mountaineering brings. Then about three years later, I gave up my job and joined the British Top Expedition. On my second trip, I didn’t even take my toothbrush. But to get water, I had to melt snow, using the fuel that I brought with me. I’ve never reached the top of the mountain yet, but I’m not thinking of giving up. Instead, I’m planning.
